Lou Zulli Jr. has been an educator for 39 years; the past 24 as the IT Instructor and Network Administrator for the Center for Advanced Technologies at Lakewood High School in St. Petersburg, FL.  Lou is the 2011 Microsoft Partners in Learning US Forum and the 2011 Microsoft Partners in Learning Global Forum winner for the Cutting Edge Use of Technologies for Learning with his project Center for Advanced Technologies News and Information Portal (CATNIP).  He is also a member of the team that won first place in the Partners in Learning Global Forum for Collaboration with the student created Kinect game “When Fish Fly”.  Lou is one of only two educators to have ever won first place twice at Microsoft’s Partners in Learning Global Forum.  In 2002 he presented to Secretary of Education Dr. Rod Paige and members of Congress on the Effective Use of Technology in the Classroom, in Washington D.C., and recently he was recognized with the 2014 National Center for Women & IT Aspirations in Computing Educator Award. Lou has been invited to share his student’s accomplishments and his techniques all over the world; as Keynote Speaker 2013 SHARE Conference - Atlanta, GA, Keynote Speaker 2013 SharePoint Conference - Melbourne, Australia, a speaker at the Microsoft SharePoint Conference 2014 - Las Vegas, NV, Keynote Speaker and Presenter 2014 SHARE Conference - Johannesburg, South Africa, at the 2014 SharePoint Conference- Sydney, Australia, the 2014 SharePoint Conference - Auckland, New Zealand , the 2014 Southeast Asia SharePoint Conference - Singapore  and FETC 2015 – Orlando, FL. Lou is a proud alumnus of The Ohio State University and an avid golfer; he also rides a Harley, smoke cigars and claims that everything he needs to know he learned from watching Star Trek.
