Jennifer Womble is a true believer in the value of education and leadership today’s highly technological world. Jennifer’s passion for education was ignited throughout her 18 years in the high school classroom. Currently, as the Program Chair for the Future of Education Technology Conference, Jennifer designs educational technology events and selects speakers that encourage the implementation of modern pedagogy infused with technological tools. Jennifer has a vision for transforming education by empowering young people with knowledge and skills. As a National Board Certified Teacher with Gifted Endorsement, Advanced Placement Certification, and Intel Certified Master Trainer, Jennifer continually demonstrates her love of teaching and continuous professional learning. Jennifer has been recognized with the Phi Delta Kappa Leadership in Education Award, Leon County Schools Teacher of the Year, and Omicron Delta Kappa. A proactive facilitative leader and a valued asset to the community, she has served on the Tallahassee Junior League Board of Directors, Kappa Delta Alumni Association, Capital City Rowing Board of Directors, and American Cancer Society Area Board of Directions. For her exemplar work, she was honored her with the JLT Legacy Award; Tallahassee Community College named her one of the 10 “Outstanding Community Women” and the Tallahassee Democrat named her one of 25 Women to Know. She demonstrates daily the value of community involvement, the pursuit of scientific research, and the role of innovative leadership.
