To Google and Beyond: Tips & Tricks for Making Google Work for You

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

In this presentation, participants will explore some of Google's coolest tools, along with some of its more hidden surprises. We'll talk about add-ons, tools to dive deeper into information, little-known Google products (like the Cultural Institute and Trends) that can enhance learning, and ways that Google's tools can streamline and simplify things for educators (and their students).

Add-ons expand Google Tools' abilities and often provide helpful ways for students to interact with each other and the teacher. They also create connections between tools so that more things are possible. Products like the Cultural Institute and Trends give teachers additional resources that they may not have access to regularly, allowing them to explore new topics (like the brush strokes of master painters) and learn cool things, like how Google predicts where the flu will strike next. Participants will leave with a collection of tips, tricks, add-ons and resources to explore and use that will help them be more effective and efficient.
