Learning Space Design: Creating a "Start-Up" Culture in your Classroom

Through innovative learning space design, workshop participants will engage in classroom makeovers to promote literacy, engagement, and collaboration to inspire a "start-up" classroom culture. Together in a thinking and technology supported session, participants will explore with co-presenters as digital composers, collectively sharing in ideas of transformation and possibility.
Learning Objective 1
Examine ways pedagogical instructional practice can be transformed and supported through innovative learning space designs.
Learning Objective 2
Understand ways learning space design can increase student engagement and motivation for learning through personalized practices of literacy instruction.

Create a learning space portfolio to reflect understanding and promote implementation into practice.
