IMake, IPlay, ILearn @ the School Library

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

I will explain my journey over the last couple of years of creating a K-5 Makerspace in my school library: what I started out with, where it is now, the ups and downs, and how the students participate in them. I will provide pictures, a list of what to get - high cost to low cost, books that can be purchased that can help in creating Makerspaces, Pinterest boards, webistes and Twitter handles to follow. I will bring examples of some of my items such as: Ozobot, Sphero, BeeBot, Makeblok, Makey Makey, LittlecodR, Build Animate, OSMO, etc. for hands on experience. I am hoping that you will walk away with ideas to start a Makerspace or add to your current one!
